This is one of my more recent bracelets, I'd kind of stopped making them for a while because they take so much wire but I just wanted to try a new design. This is a three piece bracelet, so it has the wrapped stone, attached to two separate wire pieces that make the band. I think I like this though it was harder than I thought it was going to be, I may try the same design with a twist sometime again soon since I did like the outcome, just wish it'd gone smoother lol

Sodalite wrapped in square and twisted Copper wire.

Sodalite is a deep blue stone that often has white calcite streaks running through it. Many people mistake Sodalite for Lapis Lazuli because of their similar royal blue colors. But Lapis Lazuli has Pyrite flecks in it that look like small gold pieces where Sodalite has white coloring in it instead. Sodalite is a fairly common stone and is found in many mines around the world, but it was first found in Greenland but didn’t become popular until a mass mine was discovered in Canada. Sodalite is named for its sodium content. Most pieces of Sodalite are opaque, but it can also form in a translucent state which is more rare and often discarded for its many flaws.

Copper is pure metallic element that is malleable and has a warm brown tone. Some people believe that wearing Copper can help with the pain and stiffness of Arthritis, though it has not been scientifically proven.
