I had wrapped an Aventurine and Copper set for a charity a while back and had been completely delighted with how the colors complimented each other, but hadn't been back to wrap them together again until recently. I really love the effect the square Copper has withe this stone, it looks both sharp and soft at the some time. What do you think?
Aventurine wrapped in square Copper.
Aventurine is a very diverse stone; it can be translucent to opaque with colors ranging from vibrant green to peach, brown, blue and creamy greens. The stone is also known to have mica or hematite scattered through it that gives it an almost chatoyant look. Aventurine can be found many places such as Brazil, India, Austria, Russia and Tanzania. It got its name from the Italian phrase a ventura meaning by chance.
Copper is pure metallic element that is malleable and has a warm brown tone. Some people believe that wearing Copper can help with the pain and stiffness of Arthritis, though it has not been scientifically proven.
