Light of Luminaria

Lincoln NE USA, Relay for Life's Ceremony of Hope July 25th, 2008. Walking the lap I couldn't help but feel the power from the luminaria, knowing I'd beaten the battle of cancer, and also knowing so many have lost, and so many are still fighting. Even being done and having won, a big part of me still feels like I've lost, like the battle still wars on. These lights of hope represent that for every person died, living, and fighting.
