First off, I’m so sorry for the quality of the picture, but this was taken on my iPhone :p Anyway, this piece was so fun to create, and photograph. You all know me, normally the photographing part is hell, but the piece is so gorgeous. I also had a blast naming the piece, all I could think of was this wonderful safe place, centered around a gorgeous tree. So here is the final prize for this year’s giveaway. I wish you all luck in winning it!

Sage Amethyst wrapped in round Argentium Sterling Silver wire.

Sage Amethyst also goes by the name Denio Denditic Agate, though it is neither Amethyst, nor Agate. It is a beautifully purple colored Chalcedony which has no banding in it as Agate and Amethyst have. It does have intriguing dendritic patterns; these patterns are made up of the element manganese that plumes in beautiful designs. Sage Amethyst is mostly minded out of Nevada in the USA.

ARGENTIUM® Sterling Silver is the highest quality of Sterling Silver available today and is highly tarnish resistant. Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. Argentium is actually 93.5% silver with the remaining 6.5% a mixture of Copper and the element Germanium which gives it a higher tarnish resistance and less people are allergic to it than normal Sterling Silver.
